Your video and audio

All transcription happens inside your browser. We do not upload, store, or transmit your file to any server. The Whisper model runs locally on your CPU via WebAssembly.

Model downloads

On first use, your browser downloads the Whisper model weights from the Hugging Face CDN (huggingface.co). This is a one-time download cached locally. Your audio is never sent there.

FFmpeg core

Audio extraction uses FFmpeg via WebAssembly. The FFmpeg core file is fetched from a public CDN (unpkg.com) on first load and cached.

Analytics

Anonymous, privacy-respecting analytics only (page views, country, browser version). No cross-site tracking.
